Welcome to the Knox Fire Department website.
The Knox Fire Department is a 100% volunteer
organization dedicated to serving the residents of
the Knox Fire District since 1948. One of the 37
volunteer departments in Albany County, Knox
Fire covers approximately 40 square miles of
rural and residential property in the Helderberg
Hilltowns.
Our membership takes pride in using modern
equipment and skilled techniques to provide fire
suppression, rescue, and emergency response
capabilities to serve the residents of Knox.
